We now have nearly all of the parts we need. Some of the ones we are missing, such as one or two of the control units, were loaned to us by friends of the Group and we aim to figure out how they work and build copies. This has already happened in the case of the CU7 ETH detector unit.
Generator sets
For a number of years our ETH and Auxiliary generator sets have been with a rewind company for overhaul, unfortunately little progress had been made, and last summer the company advised us that they did not want to undertake the job, as it was larger than the type of equipment they more normally deal with. Following this set back the generators were moved to Bowers Electrical of Heaner, (who had been recommended to us by Paul Spracklen owner of 50026 Indomitable). Bowers have wasted little time in undertaking the overhaul of the best of the two generator sets, and work is now complete.
