East Midlands Railway Photographic Society Night Shoot at Darley Dale
| On the evening of 10th November 2007 the East Midlands Railway Photographic Society held a follow up to it's night shoot at Darley Dale with Renown and Repulse, using D8 Penyghent and D9016 Gordon Highlander. This was the first EMRPS charter to feature a Deltic on a passenger train, the station at Darley Dale providing the opportunity to give the illusion of being on double track. Here D8 is seen standing on the maroon passenger rake. (Mark Burrows) |

| Arguably the star of the show D9016 Gordon Highlander is seen complete with "The Flying Scotsman" headboard awaiting the road south from Darley. (Mark Burrows) |
| The shunt loco for the night was 31270, which at the time was masquerading as 31421 in Regional Railways livery, which looked so good, it simply couldn't be refused, and as such is seen posed on the stock. (Mark Burrows) |

| The loco had been repainted from trainload coal livery by a small group of Peak Rail volunteers, which had included a number of RRRG members. The Regional Railways livery being the result of a competition organised by Peak Rail and RRRG member Andy Coward. Looking immaculate in it's recently applied Regional Railways livery, masquerading as 31421, 270 awaits the opening of the gates at Darley Dale. (Mark Burrows) |
