The following three pictures illustrate the external condition that 50029 and 50030 were in toward the end of 2007.

| Although no internal restoration work had been undertaken on 50029, a significant amount of work had been undertaken to make Renown look presentable to visitors to Peak Rail. Still looking pristine having made her debue at the diesel gala a little earlier in the year, Renown is seen stabled on 16th September 2007.

| Whilst the body work was being undertaken on Renown earlier in the year she had been stabled closer to the groups container however following her unvailing at the diesel gala, the groups focus shifted back to internal work on 50030, as such Renown was repositioned in her more normal location behind Repulse.

| Here 50030 Repulse is seen on the 16th September 2007 back in the sidings at Rowsley following the diesel gala. The ex 50008 power unit can be seen at the side of loco under the tarpauline.
