| 2008 Summary
The following pictures give an idea of the progress made during
2008, more pictures are provided against the individual month sub
menus.

| During 2008 one of the main areas of progress was with the electrical cubicle which was very heavily stripped prior to RRRG acquiring the locos in 2002. Here New rotary switches are seen installed on the cubicle door, at the time of purchase not only were the switches missing, which have all been replaced with NEW items, but the door was also missing.

| Another absentee was the CU7, which has been replaced by a new item manufactured by RRRG members.

| During October 2008 the ETH/Auxiliary Generator set was moved to Bowers Electrical where a serious start was made on their restoration and overhaul.

 |
| 2008 also saw the first delivery of NEW engine components for use in the overhaul of the ex 50008 power unit.
