2009 AGM and Christmas meal - 13th December 2009

The RRRG Annual General Meeting was back to it's ussual venue this year in the Whitworth Rooms at Darley Dale. The meeting was on the 13th December, which gave the oppertunity of tieing it in with the Annual Christmas Curry. Dom and Tim are seen perusing a point raised by one of the members in the audience.

The meeting had a reasonable attendance and went through the normal business of the AGM, reviewing last year, hearing the financial reports, taking stock of the year, and looking at forth coming plans.

As part of the meeting the committee were all re-elected, the ony change being for Chris Thorne to take on the post of Technical Officer from Andy Rowlands who retains the post of Electrical Officer.

Following the AGM, everyone went to Rowsley for a look round the loco's and the working members got on with a few jobs untill it was time to go for the curry in the evening (which was/and is open to ALL members).

The oppertunity had been taken to temporarily fit the drivers desk panels in number 1 cab to give visiting members that don't get a lot of chance to come to Rowsley a better idea of progress. Some other small items were also put on display in this cab, which has seen a significant amount of work undertaken during 2009.

The group are seen later in the evening having an enjoyable curry and social.
