Dave Rolfe, Mark Burrows, Jay Hirst and I on site today, plus returning member Wayne Boyle. With photos I'd got of a complete 50, Dave continued to find, clean and paint parts for the brake frame. Mark investigated the smaller airpipes on the brake frame in Renown, which is more complete than what's in Repulse, to help identify what we need to find in our parts store. He also removed an old tarpaulin from Renown which had become badly torn. Wayne Boyle, who was a working member some years ago, returned to the ranks today, scraping cleaning the inside of the roof above multiple airpipes opposite the electrical cubicle, an area which is very difficult to get at. Jay and I threaded new cables through the reconstituted brake frame conduits to six of the nine valves, and marked them ready for connecting to the valves once they are fitted.
