Through the use of extensive movei clips, arhive footage and interviews with big names from the field of fantasy film, this documentary explores the life and career of Ackerman from movie-going toddler to literary agent and magazine editor. The programme also tours the "Ackermansion" which housed 300,000 pieces of science fiction, fantasy and horror memorabilia.
